5th Annual Fall Luncheon
Beautiful afternoon Luncheon and opportunity to learn about TBCF
Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation (TBCF) will be hosting it's 5th Annual Fall Luncheon on Thursday, October 7th from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the private estate of Debbie & Dan Kass with Dennis Miller as Master of Ceremonies. Sponsors will be invited to a Private Patron Reception at the home of Margo & Jeff Barbakow.
TBCF was established to ensure that children with cancer living in the Tri-Counties receive the undivided comfort of their parents during treatment and recovery by providing families with financial aid and emotional services. Teddy Bear supports our families by paying crucial bills (rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.) so a parent can be by their child's bedside without worrry of losing their home, job & insurance, car or other essential necessities.
At this year's luncheon, we will be honoring Dr. Daniel Greenfield, Medical Director, Pediatric/Hematolody Program of Cottage Children's Hospital.
This is TBCF's major fundraiser of the year and due to unprecendented numbers of new cases, our need this year is even greater! We financially assisted 51 families in 2009 are currently at 54 families within the first 7 months of 2010.
